Reddy Ice Corporation is seeking a production associate to bag and stack ice onto pallets in a clean, organized, on-site facility. You will monitor bag integrity, quality, and deviations while maintaining safety and following the Master Cleaning Schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Stack a variety of products, 5lb–40lb, onto standard pallets with neat, square alignment.
• Monitor product quality: bags tied, foreign objects, yellow ice, deviations.
• Learn to start/stop the line when needed; follow Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain a safe work area and report hazards to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to Business Ethics and safety standards.

This role accelerates business value by bagging and/or stacking ice on pallets.

Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Stack a variety of products, ranging from 5lb to 40lb bags onto standard pallets, must be done neat and square. Help monitor product quality including; bags not properly tied, foreign objects, yellow ice and any deviation from standards. Learn to start and stop the line when needed. Keep the area safe and report potential hazards to supervisor. Clean immediate work area and entire facility according to the Master Cleaning Schedule. Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management. Adhering to the Code of Business Ethics is essential. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift and stack up to 45lbs throughout 12-hour shift. Must be able to work in room with temperatures of

45 – 60 degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The

employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is

occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
