Job summary

Kerry is seeking a Production Associate for the 3rd shift (6P-6A) in Wisconsin. You will be integral to our manufacturing team, operating equipment, inspecting processes, and maintaining safety and quality standards to deliver high-quality nutrition products.

You will collaborate with team members to meet production goals, handle bagging and sealing steps, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control standards.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery to maintain efficient processes.

• Change comil and sifter screens as needed.

About the role

As a Production Associate at Kerry, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, contributing to the production of high-quality food and nutrition products. This position is for the 3rd shift (6P-6A) and is vital to our mission of delivering sustainable nutrition solutions while ensuring operational efficiency and product excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment on the production line to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production processes to maintain safety and quality.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Add bag/tote to the fill head.
• Operate the bagger/ tote system to bring powder into the tote/bag.
• Ensure bags are properly sealed going through the heat sealer.
• Verify weights of bags/totes prior to GRing to good product.
• Perform Metal checks accurately.
• Disassemble and clean all equipment from in packaging rooms.
• Ability to change comil and sifter screens accurately.
• Scrape product build up in dryer.

• Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
• Problem solving ability and aptitude for learning and professional growth.
• Previous experience in process operation in which has been demonstrated a high degree of competence and understanding of process equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.85-29.74 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
