Job summary

Fort Miller Service Corp. has a full time opening in production to assist in manufacturing concrete burial vaults. You will set up and prepare forms, pour and finish concrete, and strip forms. General housekeeping, such as sweeping and cleaning, is also required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with concrete, epoxy glues and other chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor in varying weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to understand common measurements of length.
• Ability to withstand exposure to diesel fumes, extreme temperatures, form oil/concrete and epoxy/glue.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Set up and preparation of forms for pouring concrete burial vaults.
• Pouring and finishing of concrete, ensuring quality surfaces.
• Strip forms after concrete has cured and set.
• Perform general housekeeping such as sweeping, cleaning and putting away tools.
