Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector in Queen Creek, AZ to support quality objectives by performing daily inspections and documenting results. You will measure, verify, and analyze data to ensure product quality and communicate findings to relevant parties.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, following SOPs, and approving or rejecting materials based on specifications. This onsite role offers a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to support organizational quality objectives by executing daily inspection and documentation procedures. This role involves inspecting parts and materials to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards, measuring, verifying, and analyzing data to ensure a quality product, and documenting quality findings while communicating results to relevant parties.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily inspection and documentation procedures to support organizational quality objectives.

• Inspect parts and materials to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards.

• Measure, verify, and analyze data to ensure a quality product.

• Approve or reject material by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.

• Document quality findings and promptly communicate results to relevant parties.

• Report investigation/test/containment results in a clear, concise, and timely manner to the appropriate supervisor(s).

Essential Skills

• Ability to read a tape measure and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and written instructions.

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for 12-hour shifts.

• Comfortable wearing a bunny suit and full cleanroom PPE.

• Familiarity with working around chemicals, assembly, meter reading software, calipers, and ruler reading.

• Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of rotating shifts: A Shift from 7:55AM to 8:25PM, Sunday to Tuesday (rotating every other Wednesday), and B Shift from 7:55AM to 8:25PM, Thursday to Saturday (rotating every other Wednesday). The night shift is not open yet, with all current positions during the day at $18.50/hour until at least the end of October. Night shifts, when available, will have a 16% premium.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Queen Creek, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.46/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
