Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a detail-focused Production Associate in Opelousas, LA on 1st shift. You will inspect, assemble, and pack products to meet high quality standards and production goals.

You will support supervisors, handle ingredient preparation and packaging tasks, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and follow all safety and PPE guidelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and follow workplace safety procedures, production instructions, and supervisor direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist production supervisors and team leads in daily manufacturing operations.
• Support mixing operations by retrieving and staging seasoning bags for large-scale batch production.
• Assist mixers with ingredient preparation and production workflow.
• Work on the packaging line by removing finished products from the conveyor, packing products into boxes, and stacking boxes onto pallets for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all food safety, quality control, and PPE requirements.

Location: Opelousas, LA

Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour ($15 for OT)

Schedule: 1st Shift

Physical Capabilities

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be capable of working in a production environment while following all safety guidelines.
• Loads exceeding 50 pounds will be moved by authorized forklift operators.
