Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking a Production Associate for our Las Vegas, Nevada plant. This is a 2nd shift, 4/10 workweek, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM, with overtime as needed and a $1.50/hour shift premium.

You will work on the production floor with automated to semi-automated lines, package products, and assist the team in meeting safety, quality and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have strong work ethic and flawless attendance.
• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Solid prior work experience required; forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Package product and off-load lines using manual, automated or semi-automated equipment.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and other departments.
• Work in a team environment with opportunities for advancement.
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job description

We are looking for a Production Associate to join our Las Vegas, Nevada plant. This is a 2nd shift position - 4/10 workweek. Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, with overtime as needed. Additional $1.50 hour shift premium added to base pay. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days depending on job performance. You'll be working on the production floor, alongside industrial machinery on several fast-paced production lines. You'll be assisting the production staff in achieving goals and operating as an efficient workforce in all aspects of the Production Department. All tasks should be performed in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Service, and Cost objectives.
