Knauf Insulation is seeking a high-performing Production Associate to support efficient manufacturing operations. You will manage multiple tasks, resolve issues quickly, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with supervision, maintenance, and end-of-line teams, with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence. A strong attendance record is required, along with English reading/writing ability.

• Minimum two years of industrial experience in manufacturing.
• Must have excellent attendance in prior work history.

Responsabilités

• Communicate with the Shift Supervisor and other teams to ensure packaging supplies are replenished.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and other teams to address equipment issues and coordinate preventative maintenance or repairs.
• Contribute to safety by participating in safety meetings and following all procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions.
• Promote engagement and a positive culture to retain staff and support continuous operation.

Pay Rate: $22.60/hr.

Shift Premium: Additional $1.00/hr.

Perfect Attendance Bonus: Additional $0.75/hr.

About the Role:

What You'll Do:

Operational Communication:

• Regularly communicate with the Shift Supervisor, especially when packaging supplies need replenishing.

• Collaborate with the Shift Supervisor, Cold End Coordinator, and Maintenance teams to address equipment issues and ensure preventative maintenance or repairs are performed promptly.

Safety and Compliance:

• Stay informed on plant and safety matters by actively participating in department and plant safety meetings.

• Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and promoting safety awareness.

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in efforts to improve product quality, environmental sustainability, and health & safety standards.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and collaborate with the team to implement solutions.

What You’ll Need:

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain current OSHA Certified Powered Industrial Vehicle operator license.

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Must have exhibited excellent attendance in prior work history and be committed to maintaining such attendance. This is a key qualification, due to the unusual nature of the operation.

To perform this job successfully, individuals must demonstrate the following:

• Observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.

• Accurately count and perform basic math functions, including mental calculation of simple equations and/or fractions.

• Must be able to sufficiently read, write, and understand English.
