Job summary

Engineered Profiles is hiring a Production Associate for a full-time manual labor role in Ironton, OH. You will operate fabrication equipment after training, pack extruded parts, and help maintain safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and some manufacturing or assembly experience. Benefits include early wage access, footwear allowance, health insurance starting first month, and profit sharing.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment with little or no assistance after training.
• Pack extruded parts quickly into boxes or crates.
• Monitor parts counts in each box or container.
• Perform set-up and finishing work including packaging materials, disposal of scrap and product labeling.
• Assist with quality checks of extruded and fabricated parts.
• Work safely, report safety risks, and keep work areas clean.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed including operator reports, safety check sheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate fabrication equipment with little or no assistance after having been properly trained.
• Maintain a rapid pace in packing extruded parts into the box or crate
• Monitor parts counts in each box or container
• Perform set-up and finishing work including construction of packaging materials, disposal of scrap and product labeling.
• Assist with quality checks of extruded and fabricated parts.
• Work in a safe manner, reporting safety risks, and keeping work areas clean.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed including operator reports, safety check sheets, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND/OR, RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Some manufacturing or assembly experience desirable.

Physical/Mental Demands:

• Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction and following operating procedures.
• Must be able to learn and retain information on products, operating procedures, quality requirements, set-ups, etc.
• Must work well in a team setting.
• Must be able to lift loads up 50 pounds and assist coworkers with heavier loads.
• Must be able to work on your feet for an 8 hour shift
