Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Production Associate for a 1st shift in Englewood, CO. The role involves manufacturing, assembling and packaging metal products to meet customer orders under supervision, and operating given machinery while following safety and quality standards.

This position offers immediate work with potential to hire, a 6:00am–4:30pm schedule Monday through Thursday, with overtime Fridays as needed, and benefits after a short assignment period.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, material movement or machine operator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of metal manufacturing materials, fabrication processes and machinery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble and package metal products to fulfill customer orders.
• Assemble materials and package finished products for transport to customers.
• Operate machinery or stations as directed by the Team Leader to meet schedules.
• Maintain quality, output and safety standards, and document checks.
• Keep accurate records of production, waste and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with training.

Production Associate Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, assemble and package metal products to produce needed items in the pursuit of customers’ orders as directed by the team lead and/or supervisor
• Assemble materials and package finished products for transport to customers
• Operate machinery or stations as instructed by the Team Leader to meet scheduled demands
• Ensure that the standards for quality, output, safety etc. are adhered to and improved upon
• Keep accurate records of production, waste, and quality checks undertaken
• Properly maintain equipment
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Conform to all company policies and procedures
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Sweep floors and empty trash containers daily and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements for Production Associate:
