Job summary

Eco Prime Thrift Edgewood, MD #191 - EDGE is seeking a Production Associate to process donations, sort items, and prepare merchandise for sale while ensuring excellent service to donors and customers.

You will help maintain a clean, safe store environment, meet daily production goals, and support team members across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet donors upon arrival and express appreciation for every donation.
• Provide donors with accurate donation receipts.
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable and non-acceptable donation items and courteously decline items that cannot be accepted.
• Sort donated items into designated containers following established sorting and grading guidelines.
• Grade, hang, price, and tag merchandise in preparation for retail sale.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly production goals.
• Transfer sellable merchandise from the processing area to the sales floor to maintain stock levels.
• Perform floor care and general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines.
• Cross-train in other store positions as business needs require. Support team members and leadership to ensure efficient store operations.

Job Summary

The Production Associate plays a key role in processing incoming donations efficiently and accurately to support the store’s retail operations.
