Worthington Enterprises is seeking Production Associates for 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am) at our Chilton, WI facility, where Bernzomatic hand torches and propane cylinders are produced for camping and DIY projects.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively in a team focused on Safety, Culture, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Follow plant safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Perform production operations including assembly, testing, material handling, welding, paint line, and transfer.
• Follow instructions to manufacture quality parts safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections, identify defects, and address issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by counting, labeling, weighing, and tracking parts.
• Collect and label material samples with identifying information.
• Stack steel products onto pallets, boxes, or bins.
• Assist with conveyor and stand placement, and basic machine adjustments.
• Complete production paperwork and daily data accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; support continuous improvement.

At our Chilton facility, we manufacture Bernzomatic® hand torches and propane cylinders that help power everything from camping adventures to DIY projects. The Production Associate is responsible for safely moving material around the plant for production to run smoothly. Work involves a high degree of alertness and concentration to completes tasks. Work related problems have known solutions but may require some cause-and-effect analysis and can be resolved by using prescribed methods and procedures. Incumbents may not always control their work pace, and there is time sensitive to finish job tasks. perform multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure safe and quality production. Incumbents will be performing production tasks which may be in a PSM area and be exposed to adverse characteristics in the work environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and label material samples with identifying information
• Stack steel products onto pallets, boxes, or bins

• Complete production paperwork and record daily production data accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including machines, tools, and equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist team members as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned by the lead or supervisor
