The PA will work under the Production Manager and grow into more technical tasks as skills develop. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing, is comfortable with flexible evening hours, can lift up to 75 lbs, and communicates clearly in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2+ years of experience in a factory/manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of common factory tools.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, especially weekday evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move objects.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nighttime cleaning of manufacturing areas and keep robotic work cells clean.
• Run standard purge cycles on Kuka robots to prepare lines for the next shift.
• Set up workstations and areas to minimize morning downtime.
• Conduct nightly inventory audits and report data to the team.
• Secure the building at shift end and follow safety protocols.
• As proficiency grows, expand to preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Production Associate (PA) is dedicated to supporting excellence in our unique manufacturing environment, and doing so outside of normal production hours. The primary goal of this role is to eliminate daytime production bottlenecks by ensuring the facility is clean, fully stocked, and set up for the morning production team. Because this role operates independently after hours, it requires an individual with exceptional trustworthiness, reliability, and an "always learning" mindset with the mechanical aptitude to grow into advanced technical tasks. This production team member has both a mind for internal customer service and a heart for working toward the days goals. SPECIFIC DUTIES:

1. Perform comprehensive nighttime cleaning of manufacturing areas, specifically safely removing foam dust and maintaining cleanliness around robotic work cells.
2. Execute standard "purge cycles" on Kuka robots to clean out raw materials and prep the lines for the next shift.
3. Set up various workstations and production areas to ensure zero time is lost when the morning production shift begins.
4. Conduct nightly audits of inventory levels, logging and reporting data to the appropriate internal team.
5. Secure the building at the end of the shift, taking full responsibility for locking up the facility and ensuring all safety protocols are met.
6. As technical proficiency is demonstrated, this role will expand to include preventative maintenance tasks.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant work experience a factory or manufacturing environment
• Fundamental knowledge of common factory tools
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, especially weekday evenings
• Ability to process visual information efficiently and lift/move objects weighing up to 75 lbs
• Verbal and written proficiency with the English language

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• Experience in a robotic manufacturing environment
• Experience operating forklifts
