Job summary

Hood Industries in Bogalusa, LA seeks a production worker to support safe operations and efficient manufacturing. You will load/unload materials, monitor lumber flow, perform cleanup, and use hand tools to maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Ability to understand, clearly communicate, and follow all safety rules and policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Observes all safety requirements, including PPE.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Physical Requirements
  • Perform tasks such as walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, grasping, and standing for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Able to bend, stoop, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.
  • Able to work in extreme temperatures and dusty and noisy conditions.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. throughout the work shift.
Salary Range

$16.67 per hour (hourly range: $16.67 - $17.67)
