Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment for corrugated packaging and displays.
• Read production orders and quality standards, adjust as needed.
• Perform machine changeovers and adjust for board sizes and print requirements.
• Inspect finished products for quality and dimensions.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Track production counts, downtime, and waste.

Tavens Packaging & Display, a manufacturer of custom corrugated boxes and point-of-purchase (POP) retail displays, is seeking experienced Production Associates to join their Bedford Heights, OH team.

If you have production/manufacturing/material handling experience, this is an opportunity you need to explore! Applicants with corrugated converting experience on rotary die cutters or Flexo-Folder-Gluers will be considered at the top of the pay band.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment used in corrugated packaging and display manufacturing.

• Operate converting equipment such as rotary die cutters, Flexo folder gluers, specialty folder gluers, and related machinery based on experience and production needs.

• Complete machine setups and changeovers, including adjustments for different board sizes, styles, print requirements, and customer specifications.

• Read and follow production orders, job specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.

• Monitor equipment throughout production runs and make adjustments to maintain quality, accuracy, and production efficiency.

• Inspect finished products for proper dimensions, print quality, folds, glue application, die cuts, and overall workmanship.

• Troubleshoot common machine, material, and production issues to minimize downtime and waste.

• Load materials, remove finished product, stack, bundle, pack, or prepare completed orders for the next stage of production or shipment.

• Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.

• Track production counts, scrap, downtime, and other required production information.

• Work across different machines and production areas as needed to support daily schedules and customer deadlines.

• Follow all company safety procedures, including machine guarding, lockout/tagout, and proper material‑handling practices.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while working closely with other operators, helpers, maintenance, and production leadership.
