Position Summary

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Production Associate I to join our team. The role ensures the correct quality control of materials produced such as inspecting, buffing, and counting selected units of ceramic tile.

Primary Objective

Performs a variety of duties including inspecting, buffing, and counting selected units of ceramic tile.

Major Function and Scope

• Inspects tile for cracks and variations of thickness (lamination) in Tunnel Manufacturing Operation.
• Buffs burs off tile.
• Places tile on trays and counts units of tile.
• Follows standard operating procedures and maintains quality checks as specified.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1 year previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.
