NBCUniversal is seeking a Production Assistant to support the TODAY editorial and control room teams with rundowns and live-broadcast materials. You will also cover vacation and essential broadcast positions as needed.

Responsibilities include creating show rundowns, coordinating with producers, gathering segment elements, and liaising with editors for the Show Podcast. A strong editorial sense and newsroom availability are required.

Job Description

As Production Assistant, you will work closely with the TODAY editorial team and control room teams on the rundown and supporting material for the live broadcast. You will also serve as a resource for vacation and other PTO coverage for essential broadcast positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of news production and/or administrative experience.

Additional Job Requirements:

• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

What we’ll offer: Production Employee (PEP) Regularwho works more than 1,000 hours per measurement period:

• Eligible for 401K after 1,000 hours worked in 12 consecutive months
• Eligible for Health and Welfare benefits on 1st day of employment
• Eligible to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Program after 90 days of employment

Salary range: $26/hr - $31/hr
