Job summary

The Sheridan Group is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) finishing/bindery. We’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment, learn on-the-job, and grow a long-term career in print manufacturing.

Join a hands-on team focused on quality and safety. You’ll feed books into machines, pack finished products, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace while meeting daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read sufficiently to identify various printed forms and count accurately.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

What We’re Looking For:

Physical & Work Environment:

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Walking: Must be able to walk with ease, as some operations require constant walking.
• Standing: Must be able to stand (almost all jobs operations require long hours) on a concrete floor, or wooden platform.
• Lifting: Must be able to lift various materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Twisting: Must be able to twist/rotate at the waist, up to 90 degrees, when loading or packing.
