Job summary

Mars in Cleveland, Tennessee, is seeking a Production Assistant to join a shift team and take ownership of a set of machines and processes. You will perform startup and shutdown, monitor performance, carry out basic changeovers, routine checks, cleaning, and use of basic equipment and software.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, fluent English (spoken and written), and preferably experience in FMCG/factory operations or fault-finding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English verbal and written skills.
• Experience in the FMCG / Factory Operations industry preferred.
• Mechanical training or experience in fault-finding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Part of a shift team of up to 15 associates contribute to achievement of targets.
• Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
• Escalate issues as appropriate, give full and accurate verbal and written handover
• Repair mechanical breakdowns using trained knowledge and experience.
