Job summary

Quintech Electronics and Communications Inc. seeks a Production Assembly/Test Technician to support assembly and pre-commissioning of server products in accordance with company standards.

This full-time, 5/8 schedule is in-person at our Indiana, PA location. You will customize server hardware, load software, test, and validate to ensure full module functionality using automated test equipment.

Qualifications

• Prior PC hardware troubleshooting experience or education.
• Ability to read technical documents and schematics.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Willing to work extended hours including weekends.
• Attention to detail in networking configurations of hardware, features and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Customize server hardware by assembling hardware, loading and configuring software.
• Perform server based assembly, configuration, software installation, testing and validation.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot server products using automated test equipment.
• Perform product testing using test programs/scripts based on test automation server racks to validate full module functionality.
• Assist in other duties within the manufacturing department as needed.

Job description

Quintech Electronics and Communications Inc. is seeking a Production Assembly/Test Technician whose primary duties will include providing support in Assembly and Test departments including pre-commissioning of server customer related products in accordance with company standards.

This position is full time – 5/8 schedule - In Person Only

Located in Indiana, PA!

Additional Duties:

• Technicians will be required to customize server hardware by assembling hardware, loading and configuring software, testing, and validating Microsoft Windows based servers.
• Server based assembly, configuration, software installation, testing validation.
• Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting server related products using automated test equipment as part of the pre-commissioning.
• Perform product testing using test programs/ scripts based on test automation server racks to validate full module functionality.
• Perform other related duties as requested, directed or assigned. May work in other areas within the manufacturing department as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior computer networking, personal computer hardware and troubleshooting experience or education required.
• Ability to read technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be a United States Citizen
• Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision. Must occasionally work extended hours, including weekends.
• Work requires great attention to detail with a focus on networking configurations of hardware, feature sets and licenses, quality and time management.
