Job summary

01 TDW (US), Inc. is seeking an experienced assembler to transform material through manufacturing processes, producing quality TDW equipment per drawings and schematics.

The role involves assembling, testing, and processing components, operating a tow motor, and coordinating with Quality Control and Engineering. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in mechanical work, a High School Diploma, and proficiency with drawings, blueprints, and tools, while maintaining a safe, organized work area following

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3–5 years of mechanical experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of TDW product line is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.
  • Operating knowledge of overhead cranes.
  • Operating knowledge of power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic/mechanical assemblies using mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • Perform numbering, painting, grinding, and deburring operations.
  • Assemble, test, and process TDW equipment and components as scheduled daily via CMS work-lists.
  • Drive tow motor to move parts and materials.
  • Disassemble, evaluate and repair customer equipment returned for repair.
  • Coordinate all assembly activities with Quality Control, Production Control, and Engineering to ensure product meets requirements.
  • Perform duties in a safe manner with safety as top priority.
  • Maintain clean area and implement 5S and workplace organization.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizes mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics to prepare and assemble electronic/mechanical assemblies,
  • Performs numbering, painting, grinding, and deburring operations,
  • Assembles, test, and processes TDW Equipment/Product and component parts as scheduled daily via the Capacity Management System (CMS) work-lists,
  • Drives tow motor to move parts and materials,
  • Disassembles, evaluates and repairs customer equipment that has been returned for repair,
  • Coordinates all Assembly activities with Quality Control, Production Control, and Engineering to ensure product meets all requirements, utilizing work order routings, blueprints, and ISO certified procedures;,
  • Performs job duties in a safe manner, understanding that safety is the first priority in all areas of the shop,
  • Maintains clean area and implements 5S and workplace organization.
Experience
  • High School Diploma required,
  • 3-5 years of mechanical experience required,
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Thorough knowledge of TDW product line preferred,
  • Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications,
  • Operating knowledge of overhead cranes,
  • Operating knowledge of power and hand tools.
