Job summary

Qualitrol is seeking a Production Assembler for the C shift to support assembly operations in a lean manufacturing environment. The role involves setting up and operating equipment, rotating across cells under supervision, and ensuring products are packed and shipped correctly.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year in assembly/lean manufacturing, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to read MSDS sheets and measuring devices. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly equipment (e.g., small hydraulic presses, staking, drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, winders).
• Rotate in other work cells as directed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Pack finished product for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in cell improvements.
• Perform duties per established quality standards.

Fairport, NY, United StatesWe are looking for a Production Assembler-C Shift to join our team!Your Impact:Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.Packs finished product for shipment.Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.Qualifications:Skills & ExperienceThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred.Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.Must be available to train on A shift prior to moving to C shiftPhysical Requirements:Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs. of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Bending body downward and forward at the waist. Standing for sustained periods of time.
