Unison, a GE Aerospace Company, invites applicants for an on-site assembly and inspection role in St. George, Utah. You will follow written work instructions, perform basic measurements, wire and crimp tasks, and operate test equipment with safety and quality in mind.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math/computer skills, and the ability to read drawings. Lean/5S practice participation and clear communication are valued in a team environment.

• Cut, strip, and crimp wire as required.
• Operate test equipment as required.
• Ability to work with hazardous materials.
• Ability to use a wide variety of hand and/or power tools as required.
• Ability to do weight measuring as required.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional measurements as required (calipers, and scales).
• Performs functional tests using a variety of equipment to verify accuracy and functionality (i.e. electrical, helium, and leak tests as required).
• Ability to cross-train as required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Description Summary

This role supports assembly and inspection activities by following written work instructions, processes, and procedures to ensure quality and accuracy. Responsibilities include wiring tasks, basic measurements, visual inspections, functional testing, and the safe use of tools, test equipment, and hazardous materials.

This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
