Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Berea, AR is seeking an entry-level assembler to safely perform a variety of assembly operations and operate manufacturing equipment according to SOPs.

You will assist with line setups, maintain a clean work area, and help sustain quality standards by visually inspecting parts and subassemblies. This role emphasizes a strong attention to detail, a quality- and safety-focused mindset, and the desire to learn new skills while adapting to change.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely perform a variety of assembly operations, complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist with line setups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Maintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspecting parts, components and subassemblies
• Recognize and solve minor problems that arise
• Perform any necessary material handling requirements of the job
• Perform other duties that may be assigned
• Work daily, weekly overtime and weekends as required

• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist with line set ups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Maintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspecting parts, components and subassemblies
• Recognize and solve minor problems that arise
• Perform any necessary material handling requirements of the job
• Perform other duties that may be assigned

• Ability to perform basic math ' add, subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals
• Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement
• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to read and understand procedure, routers and instruction
• Flexibility in work assignments
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
