Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with schematic or graphic production design (packaging, print design, footwear, technical graphic design, book design, typography)
• Graphic Design Degree or similar
• Understanding of design thinking
• Interest in production and technical side of design, building schematics
• Knowledge of pre-press
• Knowledge of screen printing
• Knowledge of trims and printing processes
• Typography expertise
• Adobe Illustrator proficiency
• Pre-press color separations experience
• File maintenance for product design
• Strong footwear interest (experience not required)

Responsibilities

• The nature of the work is focused on the appearance of product, communications, or collateral materials.
• The role involves graphic design work under supervision from Design management, creating original graphics or refreshing existing products to reflect Nike's standards.
• Projects include print, packaging, 3-D retail displays, event signage, logo systems, imagery, video, and collateral materials.
• Effectively uses computerized systems in design process.
• Works with functional teams from initial concept development to final production and distribution.
