MISSION: Responsible for managing all Frontend activities (Wax, Investing, Foundry) manufacturing areas. Responsible for the safe manufacture of quality products which may represent a broad diversity of manufacturing processes, departments, and shifts. Lead by example and always puts safety first. Responsible for satisfying all quality and productivity requirements in a most cost-effective manner. Leads and manages production functions by directing and empowering Production Supervisors, Coordinators and Leads.
Manufacturing Expertise: Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and ability to apply PCC budgeting, planning, manufacturing processes, and financial management tools. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of and ability to apply "lean", "TOC", "interference management" and "NEI" processes in area of responsibility, and ability to manage more complex processes, procedures, and functions.
Completion of and ability to apply information from hazardous waste training required due to potential coordination of hazardous waste handling in areas of responsibility.
