Job summary

The Dolomite Group, a CRH Company, seeks a Production and Safety Coordinator to operate concrete mixer trucks for local deliveries. Responsibilities include safe operation, pre/post trip inspections, and maintaining equipment in top condition.

Qualified candidates are CDL holders with GPS/map routing skills and the ability to communicate via radio. Strong safety compliance and professional conduct are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid State Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Ability to use GPS, read maps, and follow delivery routes.
• Effective communication via radio and truck tracking systems.
• Ability to lift 50 lb chutes and climb ladders as needed.
• Working knowledge of commercial trucks and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate mixer trucks and report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and wash out the mixer between and after deliveries to ensure proper vehicle condition.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections according to DOT guidelines.
• Work independently and make sound decisions to ensure your safety and performance as well as that of our customers and co-workers.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and customers at all times.
• Strict adherence to company safety requirements and procedures.

Summary

This position involves the operation of concrete mixer trucks to deliver ready mixed concrete. All deliveries are local to Greater Rochester and the surrounding areas.

Compensation and Benefits

• $25-$30 per hour (commensurate with experience)
