Job summary

LITEON is seeking a skilled Production Planner to lead end-to-end planning, scheduling, and material control at our Plano, TX site. You will align manufacturing with customer demand and drive material readiness to prevent disruptions.

Responsibilities include managing BOMs, ERP data, and KPIs, while collaborating with procurement, quality, and engineering teams to optimize plant utilization and working capital.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning and scheduling to align manufacturing output with customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Manage material planning and control, ensuring timely availability of raw materials, components, and WIP to avoid production disruptions.
• Drive MRP/ERP planning processes, maintaining accurate BOMs, inventory data, and planning parameters.
• Monitor and balance demand vs. supply, proactively identifying risks and driving mitigation plans.
• Partner with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure smooth material flow and line readiness.
• Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, stock accuracy, and working capital optimization.
• Track and report key KPIs (OTD, inventory turns, plan adherence, shortage management) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support capacity planning and production loading, ensuring optimal utilization of plant resources.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Customer teams to resolve supply chain or production issues.
• Lead and develop a team of planners/material controllers, setting clear goals and ensuring performance alignment.
