Job summary

Permian Resources is seeking a Production Engineering Technician to support post drilling and completions operations across the South Delaware Basin in Texas. The role focuses 80% on analytics and 20% on field-adjacent technical support, building and maintaining recurring production reporting and ensuring data quality for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities include analyzing trends, validating data with field teams, and supporting monthly/quarterly leadership packages.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil, gas, or energy production or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Peloton WellView or SiteView, and Spotfire required.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve recurring production reporting across the SDB Texas and PR asset base.
• Analyze production and downtime data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues before leadership reporting.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting packages for department leadership.
• Coordinate with field personnel to validate data assumptions and explanations.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned.
