The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Analytical Chemistry and 2+ years operating analytical instruments (LC/LC-MS/IC/ICP-OES/ICP-MS). Strong data handling and lab safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or relevant field is required.
• 2+ years of experience operating, troubleshooting and maintaining analytical instrumentation (LC, LC-MS, IC, IC-MS, GC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office; LIMS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper safe handling/disposal of chemicals and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Proven track record of safe, accurate, timely lab work and independence.
• Willingness to expand knowledge through opportunities and projects.
• Ability to multi-task, work in teams, and stay detail-oriented.
• Strong dexterity and ability to operate lab equipment safely.
• Experience with electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment is a plus.
• Four 10-hour shifts per week, evening shifts with weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in safety and quality cultures.
• Perform chemical/physical analyses using defined work instructions and instruments.
• Document and review analytical data for conformity, traceability, and validity.
• Maintain instrumentation, tools, chemicals, and consumables.
• Troubleshoot instruments and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Ensure proper storage/disposal of samples and chemicals.
• Lead or support method development and validation initiatives.
• Maintain lab cleanliness to support high-quality data.
• Compile and present data for continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as analytical SME.
• Train others to analyze samples or perform lab tasks.
