Job summary

Radix Trading Experienced Job Board seeks a Quantitative Technologist to enhance live trading systems, research infrastructure, and alpha generation through AI-enabled technology innovations. You will work on production-grade AI applications, safeguarding workflows, and performance optimization across agent systems in a Chicago-based environment.

The role requires deep Python expertise, experience with LangChain / LangGraph, and a strong background in AI lifecycle management, with a focus on

Qualifications

5+ years of technical experience including 2+ years building Generative AI/LLM applications in production.
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
Strong proficiency in Python and solid software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

Build and accelerate the firmwide AI ecosystem and infrastructure for AI-native systems and tooling.
Identify workflow opportunities to introduce AI-first systems and automation.
Design, deploy, and evaluate production-grade AI applications and advanced agentic workflows (RAG, semantic search, planning, structured outputs).
Develop platform-level safeguards including evaluation harnesses, guardrails, approval workflows, tool-use limits, source attribution, and kill switches.
Optimize core metrics across agent systems focusing on reasoning quality, retrieval accuracy, latency, cost, safety, and UX.
