Myto is hiring an Applied AI Engineer in Palo Alto to turn messy, real-world data into production intelligence. You will own backend-heavy AI systems, including multi-modal ingestion pipelines, retrieval and reasoning, evaluation loops, and APIs directly guiding real-world decisions.

Frontend is optional but a strong plus. The role emphasizes building fast, reliable system components, clean APIs, and end-to-end reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong backend fundamentals and ownership.
• Proactive, thrives in ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
• Experience shipping applied AI/ML systems to real users is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship system-level components that are fast, reliable, and observable.
• Build and own APIs that are clean, composable, and production-grade.
• Design evaluation and feedback loops that improve model behavior.
• Collaborate with customers and product to ship impactful features.
• Own reliability end to end: logging, crash capture, diagnostics.
