Job summary

Purity Dairies is seeking a Production Shift Lead at our Nashville facility. The role supports maintaining and setting up equipment, troubleshooting issues, and processing materials in line with GMP.

The position operates on 2nd shift, Monday–Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with Saturdays as needed, offering growth opportunities and a strong benefits package. We value team players who can handle a fast-paced environment and are willing to work overtime or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, occasional weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Maintain, break down and set up equipment and machinery; troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating issues.
• Process finished or raw materials while following GMP.
• Communicate effectively with all departments and meet daily deadlines.

JOB SUMMARY

Purity Dairy has immediate job opening for well-versed Production Shift Lead to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Production Shift Leads will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
