DESCRIPCION DE TRABAJO

The Production Worker performs a variety of manufacturing and assembly tasks to support production operations. This position is responsible for safely operating equipment, assembling products, verifying quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure production goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Essential Functions
  • Perform assembly, production, packaging, and material handling activities following work instructions and quality standards.
  • Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect products and components to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate and timely production records and documentation.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Assist with moving, storing, and preparing materials as needed.
  • Work as part of a team to meet production schedules and departmental goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

Typical Responsabilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This position is primarily performed in a manufacturing and production environment. Exposure to moving machinery, noise, temperature changes, dust, and production equipment may occur. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.

Physical Demands:
  • Regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, stretch, and perform repetitive hand movements.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms to handle, assemble, or move materials.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods throughout the work shift.
  • Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to identify product defects.
