Job summary

Wabash in Jonestown, PA is seeking an on-site trainer for truck body production. You will teach tasks and techniques for high quality, efficient manufacturing and conduct training sessions on production topics, including safety policies.

You will assist in designing training programs for increased efficiency, provide technical help to production planning, participate in cross-training, and support onboarding within Human Resources.

Qualifications

• Lift heavy items up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to teach and explain production tool safety and use.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.

• Run production training sessions, including government-mandated safety policies and procedures.

• Demonstrate adaptability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Support onboarding within Human Resources and assist new employees.

• Assist in the design and deployment of training programs for increased efficiencies and continuous improvement
• Provide technical assistance to process/production planning as needed
• Participate in cross-training opportunities, wherever necessary and appropriate
• Demonstrate the willingness and flexibility to work as an individual, as well as part of a team
• Support the onboarding process within Human Resources and assist new employees whenever possible
