Job description

Netsmart is seeking a forward-thinking Product Strategist to play a critical role in driving the growth and strategic direction of our RevConnect platform. This high-impact, externally-facing role will focus less on traditional product delivery and more on defining integration strategy through APIs, identifying emerging markets, and cultivating key channel partnerships. With strong executive visibility, the ideal candidate will blend business development acumen with deep industry insight to shape how RevConnect connects, scales, and delivers value across the healthcare ecosystem. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to anticipate market shifts, guide vendor strategy, and unlock new growth opportunities across the revenue cycle landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Identify market requirements for current and future solution by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to clients and non-clients

  • Communicate solution strategy, plans and roadmaps.

  • Works closely with vendors and drives meetings, communication, etc.

  • Manage solution roadmap and scope based on a detailed understanding of needs, requirements and resources.

  • Work with engineering teams to deliver exceptional features from detailed requirements and prototypes.

  • Conduct competitive analysis to determine product features and pricing. Translate customer feedback and market trends into clearly defined phased releases.

  • Propose and support company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.

  • Partner with solution marketing to define initiatives to create demand within key market verticals and horizontal markets including trade shows, direct marketing, web marketing, and solution training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business administration, information systems or project management or related field.

  • At least 5 years of solution or product management experience

  • At least 3 years of health care information technology (HCIT) solution strategy or consulting work experience

  • At least 3 years of Agile development work experience

  • At least 3 years of experience working with clearinghouse
