Job summary

Ideal candidates have a chemistry/related degree and 3–5 years in product stewardship or chemical regulatory work, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, biology or related technical field required.
3-5 years of relevant product stewardship or chemical regulatory work experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact and communicate professionally with customers.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Experience with SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

Identify and communicate emerging product safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.
Maintain component hazard and regulatory information.
Prepare Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and label text for Company's products according to the Global Harmonized System.
Evaluate products and components against various governmental safety, environmental and transportation regulations.
Respond to customer and internal Company product stewardship inquires.
