Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Product Specialist for Peripheral Interventions (PI) in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on clinical aptitude and strong sales skills to support clinicians and cases in a busy cathlab environment.

You will visit customers regularly, promote Boston Scientific products, and drive territory sales targets. You will build hospital relationships, provide technical training, and report market feedback to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques in medical devices.
• Visit customers regularly to promote products and services to achieve sales targets.
• Manage existing and new customers in the assigned territory under supervision.
• Plan and develop the market for existing and new products aligned with divisional goals.
• Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers in cathlabs.
• Build relationships with hospital management, purchasing, and staff.
• Attend meetings and exhibitions to promote products and services.
• Analyze market and business feedback for reporting.

We are seeking a Product Specialist for our Peripheral Interventions (PI) business. He/she needs to good sales skills as well as clinical aptitude to be able to support clinicians and cases. In PI, we have built a strong portfolio of products to serve our customers and are uniquely positioned to provide physicians and hospital systems with a full toolbox of solutions to treat patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop further as professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues, general knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
• Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
• Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager.
• With limited instructions of Manager, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
• Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs
• Cultivate wide range of business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
• Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
• Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools
