Overview

Venture Global LNG is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

Position Summary: The Product Service Engineer will be a critical role within the Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) Product Service Organization. The Engineer will be a Subject Matter expert and lead the timely and quality resolution of technical issues and drive strategic initiatives to optimize performance critical to the performance and operation of Venture Global Equipment. This role will involve coordinating and collaborating with various stakeholders, including Operations and Engineering teams and equipment suppliers, to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of technical solutions.

Responsibilities
  • OFE Management: Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of OFE management.
  • OFE Management: Develop and implement comprehensive processes and strategies for the management of technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle of OEM equipment.
  • OFE Management: Coordinate with Operations and Engineering teams to identify and define technical issues and work with equipment suppliers to effectively resolve and implement solutions to ensure that OFE specifications and requirements are met.
  • OFE Management: Oversee Root Cause Analysis and implement Preventative and Corrective Actions to ensure long-term resolutions.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and assess potential risks associated with the operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to minimize the impact of potential issues.
  • Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with project and operational teams to adequately address OFE-related risks.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with operational and engineering teams, equipment suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Resolve conflicts and address issues related to OFE delivery and management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of OFE delivery and management processes using data analytics.
  • Performance Monitoring: Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Prepare regular reports on OFE performance and status for senior leadership.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in design, application, operational reliability, and servicing of Advanced Control Systems for gas turbine-based power applications such as combined cycle or simple cycle power plants or mechanical drive applications.
  • Specific experience with GE Vernova’s Mark VIe control system software and hardware.
  • Understanding of advanced control and sensor applications for operational flexibility, RAM optimization, and data collection for diagnostics and prognostics, and general optimal plant operation.
  • Familiarity with GE Vernova’s LM2500/LMX or similar aeroderivative gas turbines, GE Vernova’s 7EA Gas Turbine and associated equipment, or Baker Hughes gas turbine products specifically their M35 Gas Turbine.
  • Product Service with understanding of product Service workflow, tools and processes including root cause analysis.
