Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer to advance hardware and software security across our product lines. You will perform security assessments, threat analyses, and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and ensure secure development practices.

You will collaborate across functions to meet design goals and drive secure product delivery. The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and the ability to influence security decisions within the engineering group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering/CS or related field with 4+ years in Security Engineering.
• Master's in Engineering/CS or related field with 3+ years in Security Engineering.
• PhD in Engineering/CS or related field with 2+ years in Security Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Applies Security knowledge to achieve engineering objectives.
• Develops new hardware and software security features and maintains product security throughout the product lifecycle.
• Performs security assessments, vulnerability and risk analysis, threat analysis, and security code reviews.
• Identifies remediation for security risks, responds to product security incidents, and assists customers.
• Develops and deploys trainings and tools for secure product development.
