Job summary

GoMining is hiring a Product Security Engineer to partner with engineering teams and build secure systems from the ground up. This hands-on role will improve security across applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and the development lifecycle.

You will review architectures, identify vulnerabilities, perform threat modeling, and support penetration testing. Strong cloud/security fundamentals and secure SDLC experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Product/Application Security or Security Engineering.
• Strong software engineering background.
• Experience securing REST APIs, microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Hands-on with SAST/DAST and secrets management.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Review architecture and new features from a security perspective.
• Identify vulnerabilities across backend services, APIs, mobile apps, and web platforms.
• Perform threat modeling and security design reviews.
• Support internal and external penetration testing activities.
• Build and improve Secure SDLC across engineering teams.
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
