Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Product Security Engineer to strengthen product and application security across web and mobile experiences, partnering with Engineering and Product teams to integrate security into the SDLC and drive concrete risk reduction.

You will assess vulnerabilities, guide remediation efforts, and help shape security standards that scale across the organization, with a focus on secure development practices and practical threat mitigation.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in product or application security or 1-3 years in security-focused software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, secure code review and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with secure software development practices and security-focused architecture.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Product Security Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will focus on strengthening product and application security across web and mobile experiences, with a particular emphasis on secure development practices and practical risk reduction. You will partner closely with Engineering and Product teams to integrate security into the SDLC and influence technical decisions that improve the security posture of the business. The position will also involve assessing vulnerabilities, guiding remediation efforts, and helping shape security standards that scale across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $119,300 – $140,400 annually
