Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Architect for the Wealth Management group in Plano, TX. You will shape target architecture, drive secure design across multiple platforms, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver resilient, compliant solutions.

The role requires deep software and security architecture expertise, hands‑on coding experience in Java/Python/C#, and strong cloud‑native capabilities across AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience in the architecture discipline.
  • Hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Deep expertise in software architecture, applications, and technical processes.
  • Practical experience with cloud‑native architectures and platforms.

As a Lead Cybersecurity Architect within the JPMorgan Wealth Management group, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. You drive significant business impact and help shape target architecture through your deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of cybersecurity challenges that span multiple technology domains.

Job responsibilities
  • Drives architectural decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
  • Provides technical guidance and direction to business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
  • Ensures alignment of architecture with business goals and regulatory requirements.
