Job summary

Join TUV SUD America in New Brighton, Minnesota as a full-time leader directing a team of Product Safety Engineers. You will steer certification programs, ensure compliance with IEC, UL, and international standards, and deliver certificates, reports, and documentation to clients worldwide.

The role requires 8–10 years in product safety engineering and 3–5 years in engineering management, with a proven ability to lead five+ engineers and manage complex projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of product safety engineering experience within the TIC industry.
  • 3-5 years of engineering management or team leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading and developing technical teams of five or more engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC and UL standards, OSHA NRTL requirements, and the IECEE CB Scheme.
  • Experience with product safety testing equipment and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Your Tasks

Your Qualifications

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $65,000 - $75,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target, subject to eligibility and other requirements. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off.

Location: New Brighton, Minnesota.

Full-time leadership position within the Product Service division.

Experience managing budgets, resources, and multiple concurrent projects is highly valued.
