Job summary

SharkNinja, a global product design and technology company headquartered in Needham, MA, seeks a Product Safety & Compliance Manager to ensure new designs are safe, retailer-ready, and compliant across markets.

You’ll collaborate with Design Engineering, Electrical, Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal, and Executives to deliver compliant products while leading risk assessment and certification initiatives. This hybrid role requires 3 onsite days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree ideally in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of compliance or design related experience with electromechanical products.
• Experience supervising engineering or test personnel.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and governmental regulations.
• Experience with DFMEA sessions.
• Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of consumer product and electrical home appliance standards.
• 10–15% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of certification plans for new product designs.
• Design initiatives related to market surveillance activities.
• Evaluate marketplace and consumer events for safety risks.
• Manage design and construction reviews for risk analysis and mitigation.
• Participate in DFMEA activities to ensure successful execution.
• Serve as the essential knowledge source for safety and compliance.
• Act as project manager for safety and compliance activities.
• Lead activities surrounding market access requirements.
• Prepare and present executive reviews on NPD projects.
