Job summary

Cts Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a T-7A Program Representative based in Red Oak, TX. The successful candidate will be expected to provide engineering expertise, develop solutions to complex problems, and ensure compliance with Company standards. This position requires extensive experience, particularly in MRB Engineering, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

The role involves on-site training in St. Louis for at least six months prior to starting in Red Oak, along with comprehensive healthcare coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.

Job description

Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship Required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Training Expectations: The selected candidate will be located at this team’s Supplier in Red Oak, TX (30 minutes south of Dallas). However, the candidate will need to come to St Louis, MO for at least 6 months for MRB training before working at Supplier in Red Oak, TX. Training duration will depend on experience.

Position Responsibilities
  • Will be T-7A Program Representative at company Supplier in Red Oak, TX
  • Applies broad knowledge of Company design and/or engineering principles. Assesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle. Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions. Leads others to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances. Develops and implements product/process improvements. Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations.
  • Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues; recommends and manages complex resolution. Leads develop of interim and final solutions.
  • Provides design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
  • Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment.
  • Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Company standards.
  • Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Leads activities for on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support teams.
  • Designs appropriate jacking and shoring schemes.
  • Leads the design of interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.
  • Develops and leads non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards.
  • Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Company standards.
  • Develops and implements technical training curriculum for internal or external customers.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US Applies extensive job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts. Has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Recognized as a job expert within the department/organization
  • Provides technical solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and creativity.
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long-term perspective.
  • Guides the successful completion of aspects of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. Erroneous decisions or recommendations may result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives.
  • Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
  • equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability pre or post to obtain “Secret” security clearance.
  • MRB Engineering experience is a must
Preferred Qualifications
  • MRB Authority as Liaison Engineer on the shop floor at Company St. Louis, MO. in BDS is first desired preference
  • MRB Authority as Liaison Engineer on the shop floor at any BDS location, is second preference
  • MRB Authority as Liaison Engineer on the shop floor at any Company facility outside of BDS is third preference
  • MRB Authority as Liaison Engineer supporting the shop floor at any Aerospace OEM outside of the Company is forth desired
  • MRB Authority as Liaison Engineer supporting the shop floor at a company outside of Aerospace is fifth desired preference
Education & Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
