Job summary

Cook With Color is seeking a highly creative Product & Packaging Designer to lead design direction for kitchen gadgets and packaging. You will guide other designers, shape trend concepts, and elevate the creative output across product collections.

With 5+ years in product/packaging design, you will develop color stories, create 3D models, and collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising, and factories to bring fresh concepts to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field with 5+ years of product/packaging design experience.
• Ability to lead and guide other designers without formal title.
• Strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design tools.
• Excellent sense of color, typography, and trend relevance.
• Experience in consumer goods packaging is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cook With Color is a trend-forward leader in fashion-driven kitchenware. We bring color, style, and constant newness to the market. We are seeking a highly creative Product & Packaging Designer with the ability to think and act like a design lead—providing creative direction and guiding other designers—without formally holding the lead title. This person should be confident in driving trend concepts, shaping the look and feel of product collections, and elevating the creative output of the team.

• Conceptualize and design innovative kitchen gadgets, utensils, and accessories.
• Develop trend-right collections with compelling color stories, materials, and finishes.
• Create 3D models, sketches, renderings, and product specs.
• Provide creative direction and guidance for new launches.
• Suggest new categories, trends, and product directions for the team.
• Review team designs and provide actionable feedback.
• Act as a partner to the Product Development team.
• Design visually compelling, trend-forward packaging.
• Build tech packs, dielines, print-ready files, and digital mockups.
• Ensure packaging aligns with brand guidelines and retailer requirements.
• Identify upcoming trends in fashion, home, kitchen, materials, and color.
• Bring continuous new ideas and inspiration to the team.
• Analyze retail shelves and competitor items to guide direction.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales, and factories.
• Maintain clear communication and organized workflow across multiple projects.
• Creating physical mockups
• Keep leadership informed of project statuses.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
