Mill Rock Packaging Inc. in Hutchinson, MN is seeking a Product Packager in the Finishing Department to perform packaging tasks, operate packaging machines, and ensure a high quality product for customers.

You will strip waste, make labels and boxes, place full boxes on pallets, and conduct basic quality checks while adhering to safety practices and production schedules.

While these qualifications are preferred, they’re not required:Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.The physical requirements and work environment:Physical DemandsStanding/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per shift).Lifting/Carrying: Regularly lift and move materials up to 40 lbs.Repetitive Motions: Frequent use of hands and arms for material handling.Visual/Manual Requirements: Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks.Environmental ConditionsNoise Level: Some exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided.Safety Gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves required.Other Factors: Occasional exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production.Schedule & Work HoursFull-time position; standard schedule is 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.The above is intended to describe the general content of and the requirements for satisfactory performance in this position.
