You will own the roadmap, write user stories with acceptance criteria, participate in agile ceremonies, and ensure timely, quality releases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a software development environment
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe POPM certification
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), APIs, microservices, or CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with data products, BI tools, or SQL
  • Experience in a SAFe or multi-team Agile environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap with actionable milestones
  • Monitor competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and industry trends
  • Build, refine, and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business impact, and technical dependencies
  • Write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
  • Keep the backlog transparent, visible, and continuously updated
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and the development team
  • Gather feedback through advisory sessions and communicate product updates regularly
  • Manage expectations by explaining prioritization decisions and trade-offs transparently
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, refinement, and retrospectives
  • Define and communicate sprint and release goals
  • Help resolve priority conflicts and remove delivery impediments
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle — design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria with QA and development teams
  • Track delivery timelines and proactively address risks
  • Use analytics, user feedback, and metrics to guide prioritization and measure feature impact
  • Champion process improvements and foster a culture of learning
  • Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Product Owner – Software System to join our team. In this role, you will own the product vision, drive development priorities, and serve as the critical link between our business stakeholders and engineering teams.
