Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring for a Restaurant Technology product owner focused on the mobile team. You will translate vision into user stories, own the backlog, and partner with business and technical owners to deliver the roadmap from Columbus, OH, four days onsite per week with Fridays remote not offered.

You will drive requirements with cross-functional teams, ensure acceptance criteria are met, and promote agile best practices while delivering high-impact features and improvements.

• 3-5 years of Business Analysis and Product Ownership work experience in both waterfall and agile environments.
• Preferred experience with Rally, Jira or similar.
• Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills for business and functional needs.

LOCATION

This position will be based in our Columbus, OH office 4 days per week (with work from home on Friday). Remote work is not available for this role.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Work directly with Business Owners, Technical Owners, Mobile Engineers, QE, and Scrum Master to deliver the Restaurant Technology mobile team's roadmap. Translate product and platform vision into user stories. Define requirements for each feature and own the writing, grooming and prioritization of user stories in the backlog. Be the advocate for user experience with the scrum team. Together with leadership, work with stakeholders across the company to understand and define their requirements and priorities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Identify, gather, and write business and functional requirements.
• Break features down into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Complete ownership of product backlog, including grooming and prioritization.
• Identify and surface gaps in requirements, cross team and department dependencies and coordination needs, and risks to implementations; work with the right stakeholders to mitigate risks.
• Attend meetings, kickoffs and work sessions with stakeholders to ensure solid grasp of the organizational vision, intent of features and value to be delivered to our stakeholders.
• Ensure requirements and assumptions are documented and user stories are prepared for release planning of features.
• Actively participate in release planning.
• Responsible for user story acceptance in the sprint; verify all of the user acceptance criteria has been met and the implementation matches the intent of the user story.
• Educate stakeholders on scrum and agile best practices.
• Negotiate priorities and timelines across stakeholder groups.
• Work with QA and leadership to document test cases, organize and lead UAT sessions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• 3-5 years of Business Analysis and Product Ownership work experience with active experience in both waterfall and agile environments and with Scrum methodology.
• Preferred experience with Rally, Jira or similar.
• Possess strong requirements gathering and analysis skills for both business and functional requirements.
• Possess the ability to acquire, compile, and evaluate large amounts of data.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
• Ability to multitask with changing priorities in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to work effectively under very broad direction with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, interpersonal and time management skills.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $87,000.00–$120,000.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
