Job summary

Purchasing Power in Chennai, India, seeking a Product Owner to join our Technology team. You will represent customer needs, groom the product backlog, write user stories, and collaborate with offshore/onshore stakeholders to deliver enhancements across the ecommerce/payments space.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Agile Product Owner roles, strong communication, and hands-on experience with Jira, CRM platforms, and marketing analytics. CSPO certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant Product Owner experience in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication skills with offshore/onshore collaboration experience.
• Experience in ecommerce, payments, finance, UI design and 3rd party integrations.
• CSPO certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MarTech tools (CRM, marketing automation, analytics).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate enterprise enhancement intake with business stakeholders.
• Gather requirements from product manager, stakeholders and customers.
• Oversee design, story writing and development stages.
• Own backlog grooming for the Scrum team and mutual understanding.
• Plan and prepare user stories for grooming sessions.
• Communicate impediments to business owners and leadership.
• Make data-driven decisions based on success criteria.
• Provide release notes and demonstrations with product releases.
